Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location was good and quiet. We enjoyed the view from the roof top. It was close to the beach. Lots of restaurants and shopping stores within walking distance. The owner did bring over a few rolls of toilet paper, soap and napkins.
Negative: The place was big, but cluttered with nic nacs that were dusty. The window sills were covered with pigeon poop. The aircon filters were dirty and we had to clean it ourselves. Lots of ants throughout the house, even if we cleaned everyday. Curtains were dusty. The pillows had sweatstains on them. I had to put two pillow cases on them. The beds were hard as a rock and not comfy at all. The whole place needed a deep clean. Even the outside needed a good cleaning and painting. The place felt like it was homeone’s house. We stayed in four different places in Mauritius and this was the least favourite.
Summary: Enjoyed the beach and good selection of foods.
